Pieces your customers and your team use directly, on their own or inside this workflow.
The problem, as it happens in Eagle.
A new account on Eagle starts as a PDF. The contractor fills it in by hand, somebody scans it to the credit desk, and a week goes by on reference calls and a bank letter before anyone opens Business Advisor. Meanwhile the yard has already sold to them C.O.D.
Then the terms code. G, thirty days from end of month, or E at sixty? House account or not? Those calls live in one person’s head and get keyed into Eagle from a sticky note. Six months later the account is on credit hold and nobody can find the application.
Lunica puts the application online under your name, runs the verification before a person looks, and keeps the signed application, the references and the decision in one record that outlives the sticky note.
How it works.
- 1
The customer applies online
An application under your name, on any phone: company, EIN, owner, bank, three trade references, requested terms, signature. Cash and C.O.D. customers apply for terms from the same portal they pay in.
- 2
Lunica verifies the business
EIN and address match, liens and judgments, bank account verified, trade references requested and chased until they answer. Consumer credit only with the applicant’s signed consent.
- 3
Your credit manager decides
The desk opens on applications waiting for a decision, oldest first, each with a finished packet and a recommendation under your credit policy. Approve, set the limit and the terms code, G · 30 DAYS FROM EOM or E · 60 DAYS FROM EOM, or decline. Every decision is recorded.
- 4
The account is ready for Eagle
Name, terms code and limit go back to Eagle as a file Eagle imports, like AP Assist, or keyed by your team from the packet. The signed application stays on file as a PDF for a lien claim or counsel.
How it connects to Eagle.
Lunica reads Eagle’s customer and open-item files through the Eagle data warehouse, read-only, so an application from a customer you already sell to C.O.D. shows up with their history beside it. It never writes to Eagle on its own.
When your credit manager approves, the account record is handed to Eagle: created by Lunica’s connector, set up during onboarding, or keyed by your team from the packet. Consumer credit is pulled only with the applicant’s signed consent, and your team sees a score band, not the report.
What a week looks like.
- Applications arrive finished: signed, verified, references in.
- The desk opens on the work: applications waiting for a decision, oldest first.
- Every decision leaves a record: who approved, what terms, the signed PDF.
- Cash and C.O.D. customers apply for terms from the same portal they pay in.
Questions
Does Lunica write to Eagle?
Not on its own. Approving an application produces the account record. It goes into Eagle through Lunica’s connector, set up during onboarding, or your team keys it from the packet. Nothing changes in Eagle without a person.
Which Eagle edition do we need?
Lunica reads through the Eagle data warehouse. Your edition and version are confirmed during onboarding, before anything is connected.
Where does the application live?
On a page under your name and domain, hosted by Lunica. The signed application, the references and the decision stay together as one record, and the signed PDF can be downloaded for a lien claim or counsel.
Do you pull the owner’s personal credit?
Only with the applicant’s signed consent on the application. Your team sees a score band, not the report.
What about customers who already have an account?
They apply for terms from the portal they already pay in, and the application shows up with their Eagle history beside it.
Does it need a server?
The application and the portal are hosted under your name. The Eagle connection runs on one server inside your network, set up and maintained by Lunica.
How long to set up?
The application is up under your name in days. The Eagle connection and your credit policy, limits by tier, who signs off, follow in the first weeks.
